“...we need to call the whole world to action!”
This appeal to humanity was made at the international online conference “Global Crisis. This already affects everyone” from Mrs. Natacha Díaz Aguilera, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba to Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova.
In her speech, Mrs. Natacha Diaz Aguilera raised the topic of the global environmental crisis and the necessity of consolidation of people in order to solve this issue. In this situation, an important aspect, in her opinion, is the contribution of the scientific community. However, scientists alone are not able to solve all the problems that humanity faces.
To date, each country allocates certain investments in the development of both the economy and social sectors. However, due to the fact that the world in which we live is commercial, all attention is focused on those scientific achievements that can bring the greatest dividends. Unfortunately, this does not allow for the stable and safe development of our planet and is one of the reasons why humanity is now on the verge of self-destruction.
To let the development of mankind be effective, Mrs. Natacha Diaz Aguilera considers it important to develop scientific potential everywhere, in all countries, and to unite scientific communities that advocate a viable environment. After all, without a healthy ecosystem, people have no chance for normal development.
Mrs. Ambassador emphasized that now we are close to self-destruction. This is a serious crisis, and we can overcome it only together, by creating such development trends that will favor the human species to continue to live for centuries and centuries!
Mrs. Natacha Diaz Aguilera noted that society itself should create conditions for the comprehensive development of people. This is what the Creative Society is. In the 8 foundations of the Creative Society lies the aspiration to provide a person with the opportunity for full development
To let our development be safe in the future, Ambassador Natacha Díaz Aguilera proposes several steps to address the environmental crisis:
To understand what the problem is and how it affects us.
To unite the scientific potential.
To inform the world community about this problem.
The Ambassador concluded her speech with the following words: “In each of the countries, in each of the most remote corners of the planet, each of us should be the bearer of this information about saving the planet!”
